Second Hand Uniform Shop

Calista P&C offers a second hand uniform shop and we encourage families to recycle their unused uniforms back into the school. Just like an op shop, we don't always have what you might need, but if you fill out a uniform order form at the school's front office, we will see what stock we have at the time. Cash payment only please.

Containers for change

At Calista Primary School, the P&C have started the Containers For Change program and this is a great fundraising tool as well as educating the children about sustainability and recycling. We encourage all families to please donate their eligible 10c Containers by putting them in the lime green Containers For Change bins, which are located around the school. We are proud to be the winners of Containers For Change P&C of the Year award in 2024.

We accept all eligible containers, but please make sure they are empty from liquid, and bottle lids are not attached. You can also use our Scheme ID number at the depot to donate directly into our account. Every 10 c counts and we appreciate the ongoing support from our local community members and local businesses.

How we contribute to calista

Fundraising goals change every year as we work together with the school to fund upgrades to facilities like playgrounds, water fountains, outdoor speaker systems, equipment, etc. We have recently purchased three picnic benches for the children to eat their lunches in the Kindy area and Junior area.

P&C past events

Bake Sales and lemonade stand at sporting events, WA Bike Month event, 60th Anniversary Plant sale, Fruity Duty every wednesday with free fruit platters offered to the whole school as they enter the school, have Resource Sessions where we offer the teachers assistance with their prep work to allow the teachers to do what they do best in the classroom.
